Power and Performance
The Legend is a campervan built with a Dodge ProMaster chassis with 16 inch aluminum wheels. For your electrical needs Midwest Automotive included an Onan 2.5 propane generator and 30 Amp shore power connection. The Lifeline AMG Deep Cycle 255 Amp Hour battery stays charged with help from a 2000 Watt inverter. An exceptional addition to the Legend’s power capability is the 100 Watt rooftop solar charging system with accompanying dual battery monitored charging system. The LP tank has a 15.1 gallon capacity with remote fill. With the robust power options, the Legend is capable of meeting a variety of Vanlife needs.
Keeping cool is no problem for the occupants of the Legend with the 13,500 BTU rooftop air conditioner that can run with the shoreline power or generator. As for cooler weather accommodations, the Espar Coach Furnace will keep you cozy throughout the winter months. A suburban hot water heater provides you with ample time to get a nice hot shower in after an exciting day on the road. With holding tank capacities of 27 gallons for fresh water, 19 gallons for grey water, and 14 gallons for black water – you can enjoy the great outdoors longer. The fresh and grey holding tanks also feature heating pads to reduce winter weather related issues. Stay connected to the outside world, if you choose, with the HD digital TV antenna and cable TV input, or take things further with the help of the satellite TV and Wi-Fi preparations. Legendary has a high end look as it’s driving down the interstate and comes in three classic paint options of granite, sandstone, or silver with a matching fiberglass running board with integrated step. The dark tinted side and rear windows help reduce excess heat and provide additional privacy. Pull into your campsite in style and after effortlessly setting up camp, get acquainted with your surroundings by enjoying the shade under Legend’s powered awning with LED lighting. Perhaps you need to stretch your legs and decide to take a walk on the beach, when returning to your campervan keep the pesky sand out with the exterior shower, an added convenience for beach lovers or when camping with pets.

Legend Interior
Welcome inside the Legend with luxurious finishes like a composite one piece flooring system and soft touch automotive color keyes walls. With deluxe overhead and floor courtesy lighting controlled by the multiplex system, you can set the mood for a relaxing evening in the lounge. The lounge seating with a removable dinette table can accommodate a number of guests where you can all enjoy a classic movie on the Samsung HD LED Smart TV. Maybe music is your preferred way to unwind, the Legend includes upgraded rear speakers and an AM / FM radio in its standard package. Midwest Automotive Designs included all of the necessities in the galley, like an induction cooktop, stainless steel refrigerator, and convection microwave. The solid surface countertops and molded sink with flush mount cover are an ideal combination to round out the kitchen.
Transitioning from day to night is as simple as pushing a button. The rear lounge includes a powered sofa bed and each model comes with the complete privacy shade package. Midwest Automotive Designs made sure to include an abundant amount of storage options with a wardrobe, under sofa storage, lighted rear storage, and overhead cabinet package with hidden hinges. The bathroom includes a shower with a curtain and porcelain toilet. Additional bathroom components include a retractable clothes line and powered vent. Midwest Automotive Designs put their focus in the right places when building the Legend campervan, this is a well rounded vehicle that can be comfortable for a wide variety of campers.
